Any tool to remove electrical connectors?

Im removing my HU right now and my fingers are numb from trying to remove the harnesses. Is it safe to use any pliers, im just afraid of snapping the plastic connector.

Push the tab down with a flat screw driver and wiggle the connectors out

Yeh tried that, basically its the two connectors for power and speakers, the ones that need to go into my harness. I tried everything and there not budging. I guess worst comes to worst ill cut em and crimp it to the new radio but that not the right way to do it.

make it tighter FIRST to break it loose...then it'll come out easily.

Nice another great tip, i got it all installed and playin. The new HU sounds and looks great. Obviously not the quality you guys run for but sony met my needs and it seems to sound good to me. Once i get the infinitis in with the amp im sure it'll bump up the crunk factor. I guess now i should start planning to redo the interior light to blue since nothing matches now.
