Front speaker wire colors?

I'm about to install some aftermarket front speaker in a 95 Max the has BOSE. I'm going to just cut off the BOSE connector in the doors and solder in the wires for aftermarket speakers. There are 6 wire together on the connector. One is a red power wire and one is a black ground wire for the amps, but which color wires are the two for the left (+) and (-) and the two right (+) and (-). I looked through the stickies and most of the links don't work.

Thx

I'm looking at the wiring diagram and it looks like....

Front Left Speaker
BR = -
Y = +
R = power?
B= ground?
L & B/W go to tweeter

Front Right Speaker
LG = -
PU = +
R = power?
B = ground?
B/R & BR go to tweeter

Rear Left Speaker
*R = power?
G = -
*R = +
B = ground?
(*There are two R's here. One connect to the other speaker while one goes to the amp. You need the one from the amp for +.)

Rear Right Speaker
R = power?
L = -
P = +
B = ground?

I uploaded the pics so you can double check them.

basically, he is by passing the amps to install an aftermarket speaker to the BOSE system?

i thought the bose didnt work with aftermarket speakers unless you got the PAC converter?

and that you had to run new wiring cause the BOSE speaker wires was crap?

you can bypass buying the converter if you splice the outputs to the RCA's

what sicivic is going to do will work...those wires carry a low current signal with the bose HU, but with the aftermarket HU it will be high current.....so the signal will be normal.....then just dont use the power and ground wires that the amp normally uses and you're set. you do NOT need to run new wires into the door this way...which is a great thing because our door tubes are a pain to get new wires into.

Ok, so if i wanted to install an aftermarket HU and speakers, (BOSE CAR), all i have to do is hook the wires up the same *to the aftermarket HU with the harness* and then use the same BOSE speaker wires and just use those two wires out of the six for the aftermarket speakers as well?
