how to take the radio face off

how to take the radio face off

I want to take the 95 se stock radio face off. How to do that? I don't see no screws. please provide step by step instruction.

No, I think he means the face, like just the front cover part of the cd player. I know it is possible, but don't know how.

it is possible....u have to remove the whole deck first tho...

I think the similar topic has been discussed many times in this forum. If radio needs to be taken out then the center part, not the whole deck, need to be taken out first. As to the radio face, I don't know how but I know more new designs use snap-on instead of screws to hold some parts to save production cost.

BTW I took the center part that holds radio, A/C control at least three times. It's easy.

I'm sure you can search and find the instruction with pics. Mine is an auto. Take out trim piece around the shifter and unplug the 12V outlet connector; take out one screw on left side of ash tray and pull out the tray; pul out the center air vent/warning light/clock/rear defrog switch unit(a one piece unit);take out 2 screws on top side and another 2 on bottom side of the radio/A/C control/storage bin unit, and this unit is free to be taken out. There are small tricks for each step but I want to keep this post short.
