ive got one for ya 12 volt xbox

so i have a orignal xbox, and im wanting to put it in the max,

the xbox converts 110 ac, to 12,5,3.3 volts via a power supply MUCH like a computer uses.

so ive seen may dc to dc converters on the internet that will do 12,5,3.3 volts.

my question is does ANYONE anything else about converting xbox to 12 volts?? im afraid to get the dc to dc and hook it up and mess my stuff up.

any help/insight, please

main reason , is why use a inverter to conver to ac, then the xbox converts back to dc, it seems dumb, and +i do not want a inverter

SO much easier to just get a power inverter. Since you don't want to.. this is probably the easiest way

You'll still have to do lots of soldering and studying to find the solder points on the xbos mobo.

just get a power inverter and hide it well

a nice hardwired dc-ac converter seems like a much easier solution and less of a chance to mess your stuff up
