2 15s + Spare Tire
You would have to pull the box out obviously to get to the spare tire....2 15s in a 4th/5th gen is a waste of time (unless you want to go IB
). Our cars are ****ty vehicles for loud systems...spend more money on completely sound deadening the car instead...

One of my first systems way back in the day was a pair of sealed JL W1 15's, iirc the box was right around 40x12x18. It had to be put in the trunk bottom-side first, i.e. just dropping it vertically into the trunk opening because our trunk opening is small height wise. Was still a tight fit, but possible.
An infinite baffle setup done right should work. I heard some really good ones......and really bad ones to. Things to consider.......
Pros
- take up very little trunk space
- roll-off at 12 dB per octave below resonance, where resonance will be lower due to increased size of enclosure
- notorious for extremely flat response
- preferred by many for SQ applications
- allow you to retain the spare tire
Cons
- Lower efficiency than a typical sealed system
- Less peaky than a typical sealed system - which typically means less overall output
- Power handling lower than a typical sealed system
- No acoustic "spring" to assist with woofer suspension as in a typical sealed set up, therefore the woofers suspension must be up to the task
- Much more complex to build than a typical sealed system

Sealed probably, ported no way....

you're looking at at LEAST 5 cubes NET for a pair of ported 15s. gross box volume will be get near 7 easily. that's if you go ported. sealed...that's more doable.
i'd say get one solid 15, ported it, tuned sorta high and it'll get PLENTY loud for you.

I would go with one 12 instead ported...to give you an idea my AA Assassin 8 in a 1.2 cube ported enclosure tuned to 35hz could flex my windshield with some songs
Ascendant Audio
I never heard of Ascendant Audio, are they good Subs? I tried to research them, but all i could find was on www.soundsolutionsaudio.com .. is that the only place the sells them? cause AA website is down, well you need a password to acess it. Where can I find out more info and order them, does any one here have them?
Only thing that can really match it is the SS RL-i and the JL 8W7, which are each nearly/over double the price...
what about a 15" Fi BL? lot cheaper and will still pound like no tomorrow.
