Fi Audio
Hey does anyone have a contact number for Fi, cause Ive been emailing them and i have not gotten a response. Is it safe to just order on the website? will I get what I order? It seems like noones there
They are a direct company. No phone number. Yes you can order. Yes there are people there. Yes it is safe. When you get your order will depend on what you buy and what options you get. All of that information is on their forum www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum
no extra options. just a dual 1 Q.
the hertz sub was very musical and accurate, but lacked output. my germs dominated it in terms of output. then i got the arc sub, but it was having noise issues (i suspect the former coming unglued from the cone). sooooo after reading buncha reviews, i took the bite and ordered the Q.

250.2 x 2 ftw!
the q only has the bp power option iinm.
its as good as done... just got to do stuff in order.

the q is nice...but i still have more love for the bl. as soon as the weather gets better, i'm putting my IDMAX back in and calling it a day
The BL's are nice too. I don't think they sound as good. Not bad by any stretch. They are designed more for output than SQ. I have always been a fan of the IDmax's, well the old one's. Not a fan of the newer versions.
It'll be happy either way. I prefer ported personally. This is one of the first drivers I have not thought could benefit from a sealed enclosure. You will see what I mean when you get it installed. It is one of the most linear I have heard.

thinking of puting the Q in a t-line enclosure. never built one before, but i've been doing lots of reading and research on it. if done right, the sub will absolutely pound.

They are more efficient, but also lack power handling...they are also difficult to design properly...people always assume to tune to the FS of the driver, which is actually the last thing you want to do...
