Bought a new battery = low frequency levels increased
Bought a new battery = low frequency levels increased
A few weeks ago I picked a new Interstate battery since the original (7 year old) one was on it's last leg. Had something like 150 cc amps left. Since the install, I've noticed that without changing any settings as well as listening to the same music via the same formats, the low frequency levels are drastically increased. I'm assuming this is due to the increased amount of voltage being supplied to the amps, but I didn't really anticipate such an increase. So much so that I believe I'll need to make some adjustments on the amp levels as my CD5435 has the bass set at the lowest setting.
Can't imagine what it'd be like if I actually had a better sub than my 12w6v2

Wait. Whats going on. This is a thread in the audio forum that isn't about the sh!tty Scosche dash kit or about getting a radio to work with Bose. Where am I?
On topic, glad to hear it. I'd be curious to see what the voltage reading would be off your old battery since it is rare to hear a case like yours.
