power capacitor burnt up???

power capacitor burnt up???

ok so i noticed my bass wasnt hitting hard enough. i check the trunk and the cap isnt on. all of a sudden that naaaaasty burnt circuit board smell comes out of it. obviously it fryed.

can i fix this?
can it run without a circuit board, just the posts coming out?
am i screwed and need to get an entirely new one....?

lose the cap all together. recheck all your wiring and make sure they're good. do the big 3 upgrade if you haven't already done so.

Motion seconded. Ditch the cap and do a big 3. pretty easy to do.
