Feedback from speakers
Feedback from speakers
I have Factory Bose and a Poineer Premiere headunit with subs. My problem is that when i pause the cd or ipod i can hear static feedback. Where does the problem lay? Thank you
i regrounded. still hear static when i turn up the volume. but i just relocated that to another piece of metal behind the dash. is there some more apppropriate way to ground it? i am an amateur. Thanks
you might need a attinuator if i spelled that right.... Basicly it goes in line with the power and ground connectors of the head unit. Should get rid of some unwanted noise. Not sure where to get them they used to sell them at Radioshack.
are you hearing static through the interior speakers or sub?
heres the thing is the ground is an issue then ur right a ground look isolator would fix it but if its the alternator then an attenuator would fix it. At least you can still get ground look isolators from radioshack. scratch that after looking I could not find what I was looking for so I desided to get the box for what I told you about. Its called an automotive electrical noise filter. here is a link to one http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/10ampauelnof.html
I haven't used that site before so order at your own risk. sorry about the miss info before I don't know where my head was.
