Larger or custom headrests for LCD screens...

Anyone ever used a larger than stock headrest for larger LCD screens? I think my 4th gen will take about a 7" screen, so maybe anything bigger is overkill. But I'm curious if anyone has ever done something custom to put something like a 10" LCD screen in their headrest. I can't seem to find any info on the size or spacing of headrest posts for various vehicles.

most headrest's wont fit a 10" screen without modifications, if you want one that big, just get a flip down from the ceiling..

Thanks don for the website.

Any chance I can get 2 monitors in my headrests with a budget of $500?

I am pretty sure these are the top of the line, but not really looking to go all out,
this will be for my kids.

It would be cool if I can get wireless headphones since I have the eclipse already with the dual entertainment.

let me know your recommendation.
Thanks

Theyre nice screens, but need to be cut into your OEM headrests.

you can buy cheepos on woofersetc.com no idea their quality but who cares noone is back there 90% of the time and when they are honestly who is going to complain about the video quality of a tv headrest?

i'm probably going to go with the cheapest i can find and put them in myself. as i have custom wrapped headrests i don't want to repay for something i already have...

Don which way would be the most economical for my budget?

Maybe a little more for headrests already done or getting these eclipse screens and paying for them to be cut out in my headrests?

Both would prolly come close, although if cutting in you have nothing to replace them with if you ever remove the set. Also the pre made set depending on color can be moved into the next car.

That is a good point, if i want to keep the screens. Although at this point I would like to stay as close to that budget range if possible, I can always find other replacement headrests at the time of changing the car.

Let me know what you find or get for me don.

Thanks

Well within your budget and save yourself some loot. I bought a DD headunit from here and I've got no complaints at all. Again I saved myself a grip off the normal price. Picture quality is fine too.
