quick question

srry if my noobness pisses any of u off... i was juss wondering what the whole deal is with this 'ohm' stuff... as in how does it effect watts and w/e... im considering buying 3 rockford fosgate subs 200 watts rms/400 watts peak each. these subs are 4-ohm. the amp i was looking at is a kenwood KAC-X10D which has 1200 watts max power output... the details on this amp says rms: 300 watts x 1 @ 4ohms... is it possible to hook up THREE subs to juss ONE of these amps or would that be underpowering it??

You can hook it up, but to do it safely and give each sub the same power you would have ot wire to 12 ohms, and you will end up with probably around 75x1 rms.
