Have an Ipod Touch, have Panasonic H/U with Ipod control. Problem is a regular Ipod cable from what I am told will not work. Any suggestions?

 

if it works for other ipods, it should work! My Iphone works fine with my eclipse.

 

ALMOST any cable should work. Most of the old cables won't allow you to control the iPod touch/iPhone like you can a regular ipod but the music should play through just fine.

 

I'm not necessarily looking for Ipod control but getting video and audio through. If a standard a/v cable (Ipod that is) will do, then I will try it. A friend of mine said that the regular Ipod cables don't work for the Touch in terms of video throughput. So I look to ya'll, my fellow audio enthusiast to help me out.

 

the "Apple Composite AV Cable" or or component if you have those connections would work fine for outputting video.

although wait a sec..those cables would work only if the headunit accepts composite audio and video INPUTS. I'm not familiar with that headunit but i would guess it has just aux inputs...
