Remote Start Question

Experts,

I am installing a model RS-900ER III remote starter from Crime Stopper into my '92 Maxima with remote entry. Has anyone have any experience with such a system? The problem I am having is that I have hooked the car up so that he remote start works just fine but I can't get my remote door open/close to work properly. Also, this unit sends out a ground impulse when I press the trunk open button and the trunk unit seems to require a power pulse in order to activate the trunk. Any help would be most appreciated.
