Maximadave: Eclipse and Antenna struggle

I had my Eclipse 7002 and Eclipse cd changer installed and the thing sounds freaking incredible! Only problem is that my antenna is ALWAYS UP even if I am playing cds. How the hell can have it the way it was with the Bose deck...meaning it go down when playing cd's, DVD's, etc...and up only when listening to the radio?? Also, I found a Tweeter way over here in D.C.! What kind of hookups can I get for JL Audio tens in a box with a sufficient amp? Thanks.

It might be your antenna wire from the Eclipse deck not wired right. Tell me what makes and models you want and I'll quote you some prices.
JL Audio amps like the 250/1 w/2 10 W0's or 500/1 with 2 JL 12W3's...let me know what models you want.

Eclipse headunits have a "amp turn on" output wire and a "power antena wire" coming off the harness.I just checked my owners manual for my Eclipse 5504 said the following:

Power antenna - solid blue

Amp turn on - blue/white stripe

that will make the antenna go down when you play CD's and up when the radio(fm/am)is on.
