Problem

hey i saw a tutorial on here a while back on stopping the sub box move in your car while drive cause like the trunk in in a incline or something idk but i remember it involved wood in the trunk can anyone help me

Just get some angle brackets from Lowes or Home Depot and screw them in to hold the box in place. Cheap and effective. Just my $.02.

screw them in were and how does it stop it from moveing

you buy a 2 X 4, nail it across trunk and screw angle brackets to wood. Thats how I have it done. Very effective. Just make sure you get right size screws. Not too long, not too short.

I figured out a way to secure mine using U bolts and L brackets.

I did take out one piece of the rear carpeting/plastic stuff. I think if you had a spare piece, you could cut one up to cover the parts you can see.

It took me maybe an hour or so to install and I had to take out my rear seat to do it. It is also nearly impossible to remove (steal) the box without taking out the seat. The only realistic option for a thief would be to unscrew the sub from the box.

I have a 3rd gen Maxima, so I am not sure how well it will work for any other model.
