Fuse keeps blowing

well. Heres the story. I have a cheapo set of Dual subs in a ported box that i run with a cheapo 1000 Watt amp, i recently replaced one of the subs with a 1200W Dual Voice Coil Power Acoustik Sub..

well...i experienced this same problem before with the sub where the Protect mode would kill the power to the amp. but in this case it pops the fuse... the one Dual sub i have in is 8 Ohms Single Voice Coil. and the Power Acoustik is Dual Voice Coil 4 Ohms each. unfourtunately im not educated in Ohms law... so what i get from it is that the Dual Voice Coil PA Sub with the 4 Ohms a piece stack and come out at 8 Ohms, or am i mistaken?

so if im corect this would mean that im running 2 8 Ohm Subs. their both on the same connection to the amp and the amp is bridged. its only putting out about 350 RMS Watts to the subs.

when the Engine is Not running and the subs are running off of Battery Power this problem never occurs. but when it is, I go to turn the power for the subs up and it Now Pops the Fuse... i havent tinkered around with the connections much or anything due to the fact id like to not blow my subs or amp by running a bigger fuse or such to compensate. also i know that the ohmage of the subs have alot to do with this so i figured id ask. anyone have a simple solution for me?

Sorry for the Huge explanation
