I want an ipod, anyone got one 30gb + that is in good shape < $100?

I don't want to, but the lack of good support on USB inputs is killing me, so I guess I'z havta use iPod lossless media files

They have a realllllllllllly loose suspension they won't need much to get wangin, but I do have 1200rms on tap! hehehe.

 

Did you have issues with the CD7200Mk2? Or was it the previous version? I am looking for a nice deck that has an input for a laptop. not sure what I want to go with though. Suggestions? Just a CD player, no screen.

Issues with the cd7100, 7200 is apparently better as well as my cd3200. So you want to hook up your laptop to the HU? Like the harddrive or the laptop itself? I'm not sure that the eclipse will accomodate that....

This is actually for my brother-in-law. He insists on having a HU that he can plug his laptop into. I have actually never had anyone request that, so I am in search mode. He is in sales and drives all day.

 

I doubt it will work Maybe I can try my laptop in my crx when I get it back and see if it works.

BTW, can you rush that install, i'm dieing to hear an IB setup and you are nearest person to me doing this type of project (ICE RELATED!)

 

I already have 8's IB. (which sound pretty damn nice)

Parag check Craiglist. around here anyways, ipods go anywhere from 75-150 bills for 30gb models.

 

any HU with an AUX in should be able to play audio files off a laptop. just hook the aux in to the headphone out of the lappy or whatever audio out you want preferable a line out if it has it. it's not complicated.
as for the HU manipulating the laptop that will NEVER happen as the market for it is UBER small.

and i have no ipod for you. only because i refuse to buy a pos ipod when you can buy another brand which more space/features for less money.

 

the ipod is not a POS, its just a bit overpriced is all. As soon as a better unit comes along that i can control and charge with my HU with processing, ill buy it.

i have one for sale it pretty clean barely any scratches on it. only thing missing is usb plug. comes with leather case which cost me 20 bucks. $120 PM me if you want it. i try to get those pics up for you. its my sisters ipod

I believe its the 30gig video, I can vouch for him being a good seller.

 

It stopped linking to itunes, itunes says theres something wrong with the unit.

Its happened before, so usually i took it apart and removed/re-set the hard drive ribbon cable, and this last time it didnt make a difference

So why do you need an iPod? You dont have the Eclipse in your car anymore since the Pioneer is in there. Or ..did you mean issues with that as well?

 

The question was to answer filtor1, he asked me specifically about the issues with the eclipse but the pioneer doesn't pop or anything it does skip tracks, a lot of them. The iPod won't do that so I guess I have to give in

For n00bs that don't know you or havent followed your continuous changes they could potentially assume that all you had was one HU (Eclipse 7xxx) and that is why your now resorting to the big apple.
