Pioneer FH-P8000BT - Help me
Pioneer FH-P8000BT - Help me

Sorry to make one of these threads, but the 02 MX w/Bose system is just confusing!
1. Anyone have this HU that would recommend it or not?!?
2. I gather I need the Metra connector with Pre-amp connections, the radio adapter, and a Double Din Adapter dash kit. The pics for the Metra Double Din only show a single bracket
Will this come with the surround that will match my 02 dash. It is wider at the top and tapers down, you all know what Im talking about. I just don't want gaps.3. Anyone know the specific grounding instructions for this or a similiar HU, through the chassis mounts or wires?
4. Is there a steering wheels control adapter for this HU?
Sorry for all of the questions, I have searched and there is just SO MUCH to sift through. Im just hoping someone already has this working and will help me out.
Thanks. Just joking, after cruising through this and other nissan boards, there is no consensus on which wiring harness to use. I hooked this up with the metra 7551 and I dont think the volume is loud enough. I dont have anything to compare it too, but I think it should be louder. I may try a different harness, but I dont want to spend the money and it not be any better. Well, I will update later. Thanks
omg. Mr. "everyone get the metra 7551" himself is recommending the scosche?!? haha
Anyways, I think it it loud enough. I guess I'm just not used to a high number range for volume. Messing with the audio options (which there is a ton) I've got it plenty loud and sounding good. Plus, the first time I turned it on, I had the windows down and there was lots of other noise going on.
I do think the scosche would be better just due to the fact that it is adjustable, but I dont know If I want to spend even more money, a new system will nickel and dime you to death.
The only place I've seen the Nissan scoshe is crutchfiled, any other place I can find it?

Well I got it in. I think I'll stay with the 7551 kit. It is loud enough after messing with some settings.
It mounts up to the stock brakets, but they place it too high for a dash kit.

I put the bluetooth microphone in this blank accessory tab. It picks up my voice OK

It works great with my Ipod. Works with 5g and newer ipods and ALL Nanos. The bluetooth works well, sound is good. Just a steep learning curve because there are so many features.
Overall, I would recommend it!

If your gonna throw sarcasm in to someone that is helping you at least get the facts straight. I do believe he has recommended the 7551 providing the preouts are strong enough.
It was a joke, I did not mean any harm or sarcasm at all. I have been searching like crazy, and on other sites, and he is always helpful and recommends the 7551 to people. And I think I have seen 25 of his posts like that, and then this is the first time I have seen him recommend another harness, so I was just poking fun at that.
Don't go around and try to stir stuff up. Im sure he knew I was joking and pointing out the humor with that post.
Hence the "haha" and the middle school type "omg"
