Pioneer Mobile Entertainment

Hi. For my birthday, Dec. 4th, and the holidays afterwards, I am putting all my money together and buying the Pioneer:

AVX-P7000CD ---- In-Dash CD Player/Display (7")
AVIC-9DVD ---- DVD Navigation System
AVM-P7000R ---- Master Unit

My question is, has anyone used any of these? Would you suggest I buy a different setup?

Thanks,
Erik

2 things

1) Do you want to play DVD movies, and if so where will you put the DVD player? Will the DVD-based nav system play movies ?

2) I believe the 8000 and 9000 master units have Dolby Decoders in them plus 3D GUI's (pretty cool) Y not get one of those?

Re: Pioneer Mobile Entertainment

definetley get the 9000 brain if your gettin a dvd player, thats what i have now, and the options are endless. i like the idea of the navigation instead of just a dvd player, im thinkin of that as my next upgrade

Thats a great setup but i can sell you a better setup at a real good price. Try this

AVX-P7300DVD-------In-Dash DVD Player/Display(7")
AVM-P9000R---------Master Controller(BEST ONE)
GEX-P7000TV--------TV TUNER
CD-VS33----------- VIDEO SWITCHER

Check out the pioneer web page and if you are interested then email me at quincystewart@aol.com

All the pioneer setups are nice but the setup I'm offering is Da Bomb.

Here is what I decided on:
(Retail Price)

Pioneer - AVIC-9DVD - $2,400.00
AVX-P7000CD -$1,300.00
AVM-P8000R - $810.00

I am paying $3,200 for the whole package (new) installed.

Na, I want access to everything up front...nothing in the trunk...I would rather pay more and get it done right.

Glad you sold it. I got $150, I think I told you that at the meet, but mine was new, I think you got a better deal. I am going to order the fog lights around Christmas, so if you do the 97 conversion before then, let me know.
