I have a 2002 GLE with the stock bose unit and it skips sometimes when playing cds. It doesn't happen very often, so it's almost not even an issue. But I would like to get it fixed or replaced eventually.

Does anyone know if you can replace just the cd player inside of the bose head unit, instead of replacing the whole unit? Or is it an all or nothing type of thing?
