MA audio?

MA audio?

i was in the pawn shop yesterday and they had this box with 2 12" ma audio subs in it. with a Plexiglas cover and nice ported holes. for 75 bucks. is that a good deal?

i think its a good deal. Ma audio is a good brand that can handle just about whatever u want to throw at it and the sound qaulity is pretty good

You will be overpaying for the equipment IMHO. I don't think it would be a good deal if my assumptions are correct.

Which MA subs are they? Is the box 3/4"MDF, 1/2"MDF, or particle board? How old is the equipment? What type of enclosure is it? If it is a bandbass type enclosure, mechanical issues with the drivers can be masked due to the design of the box.

There are too many variables we don't know to give you a good opinion/ There are enough unknowns to make this a bad purchase though.
