Need Help

Well I went into my car today and found out I had a dead battery. Well I got my Car jump started I turned the radio on and got a 60hz note through all of my speakers at full blast. It wont tunr off until I shut the car off. So i disconnected my power wire from my battery.

What I have is the JL Audio sound proccessor that runs to my 3 jl audio amps and a set of Dyns in the front with a w6 in the rear.

I have a 6 disc factory changer in a 2006 maxima with NAvigation

Any ideas of what it could be

do you still get the sound if you pull the RCA's of the 4 channel amp?

Okay hear is what I did so far.
I disconnected all power sources and did a simple turn on the individual equipment. I turned on the processor and then the clean sweep, and the sounds still come from the clean sweep with power on the amps. Amps are on and the sound comes out of the speakers still. Th 60 hz note, no good on my end. SO PEARL, i have spoke to you on this almost a year ago. I was advised from some one else that with the Navigation on the 06 you could not go straight RCA from the Head unit. NOw is this guy just was 100 % certain on this but i am not sure! NOW AT THIS Point i HAte clean sweep and want to get rid of it. What is the easiest way to test and see if the 06 maxima does have a signal coming out of it!

We can use actual names here John.

Not sure what/how he exactly informed you, but he is not 100% correct, not even 10%.

The signal from the HU (whether Nav or not on Blose) is flat and unamplified. A simply splice in that line -before the amp- will give you preouts. Even Manville @ JL can confirm this.

Gimme a call if you'd like to discuss ... 732-572-1969 or leave me your number.

Update::

I bypassd the summing device and tested out all the leads from the radio so the processor will only accept 4 leads, FRont and Rear so I tested those leads and we have a winner. But it is not 100% Fixed. the Summing device is out but I am only getting a partial time correction from the digital sound processor. I will re look at it this weekend!

There are a few fuses on the wires that run from the alarm brain to the ignition harness, but I find this fishy to begin with. Something doesn't really add up, so Id be interested to see what the problem is.

It is totally dead? Like no lock/unlock, no LED lit up, no nothing at all?

Nothing everything is DEAD, it looks like it happened when i used my Remote for the alarm to start the car instead of gettin in. What a idiot. But nothing is coming on not even the LED, I will test all the wires tonite and see what happens

Have you checked the brain itself? Perhaps the primary harness came loose? When you start with the key does the auto lock/unlock engage?

you are right. that is what still happens now when i put the car in drive It used to do it when i applied the brake!
now it doesnt. SO you think the brain is loose. Even though it worked before i had to jump start the car

Its very possible. Although you could bring it back to the installer and have them swap the brain ...

downside of the installer is it was installed at tweeter as you probably know and they have no more installers all laborers in MD were either let go or asked to take a sales position to liquidate the inventory

Bring it to the next closest dealer then. They may charge you a bit for labor, but you have a lifetime warranty on the unit itself.

He might consider it if you can correctly spell the equipment in your sig.

Or is Dyna Audio a knock off that I don't know about?
