Amp suggestions

Need something that does 1200+ @ 4 and can do 1200+ @ 2. Realistically I need something that is a higher powered 2 channel capable of high current, but the catch is I want something EFFICIENT.

Right now the only amp I am thinking about is a Rubicon 1000-2. I would love to hear other suggestions.

Thats true, it looks like I'm going to need a laptop also so I'm looking at a split of the budget from the money I get from my 2300 SE (maybe). I think I may just put it all towards the amp so I should have around 475. I have already seemed to source a rub 1000-2 so I may have to scoop it up.

OS should never matter. You can always wipe it and install whatever you want.
