Installing a remote start in my '92 GXE, I'm down to just the tach wire..its supposed to be a light green/black stripe or blue wire in the blue plug on the TCU..ok..there are two light green wires with a black stripe, and three blue wires of various shades on my bundle.. if somone can either take a pic of which wire they used, or can give me a pin location in the plug as you're looking at it with the harness still plugged in, I would be very greatful..

 

lt. green/black or blue it calls for. Its best if you have a tool to test tach with.

If you can't get one you could always go into the engine bay and grab a wire at an injector/coil. Usually its the wire thats not common (color) among each injector/coil

 

I suspect I'm going to end up splicing into an injector wire, my digital tach was one of the tools that was ganked when my tool chest was broken into. For tonight, I'm going to be taping the ends of my individual connections, bundling it all back up under the dash til sometime next week when I have another chance to work on it..it'll probably be snowing the way my luck goes.
