Viper 771 installation - lack of auto windows roll down
Hi guys, I just had a Viper 771 installed (with my trunk wired to the aux) but like many others, I have lost the auto windows roll down feature. I'd like to add this back in eventually (not a huge priority right now, as it's like 40 degrees outside).
I've been searching through the manual and the forum, and have some questions.
1. Do I need to buy an extra "module" for this? If so, what is it called? I checked ebay and saw the 530T and the 529T, but they don't list the 771 as compatible, but they say that it's universal...so I'm confused on that one.
2. Since the factory alarm sends a signal that rolls down the windows, shouldn't there be a way to just tap into that?
3. My manual states that there are 3 "auxillary options," one of which I know is being used by the trunk release. I'm guessing that the key to the windows roll down is to use these auxillary options? Is that correct?
Thanks guys! I know these are noobish questions....but....well, I'm still a noob, but i'm learning..

don would know off the top of his head. or OP just go in your car and ground the unlock wire and see if your windows roll down after a sec. But don't do this if you don't have alarm knowledge...probe a wrong wire and you could *** some sht up.

Unfortunately the 530T is still needed in the 4th gens. Ive tried and tried.
And yes we all hate 530T installs in most cars that require going into the door. At least the 5th gens have em all accessible in the kicks, but still alot of friggen wires. Wait, actually 4th gen might be doable in the kicks too, cant remember now.
'02+ is a breeze with the windows - aux to lock/unlock comfort closure on (if so desired). Most of the new Nissans work like this and Infinitis give you all 4 windows.

Lawls, the second I look away from this thread....it blows up!
Thanks for the advice everyone.
If only there were an authorized DEI reseller on this forum who could possibly hook me up with a good price on a 530t...
