Woofer drop out
I have two 10 inch Type-R woofers and a 1200 watt amp. Sometimes the woofers just seem to shut off. any comments would help.

When do they shut off? After beating on them pretty hard or just randomly regardless of duration and volume level?

i would guess
possibly lose rcas or remote wire

can u keep an eye on your voltage?

Wiring for sure. Could even be the speaker wiring, depending how they're wired.

what if it did happen when i turn up my music? cause it happened today when I turned it up but it could be a coincidence.

Either the amp is going into protect or the sub is rattling a wire loose.

Check the amp next time it happens.

the protection light also blinks when the subs hit really hard

check the ground.. i bet its not good and causing the amp to shut off....

or the 12 volt trigger from the radio

Looks like you are clipping your amp. Turn the gain down a bit. Maybe the excessive clipping makes it go into protect.
