new 12" subs

ok so heres my setup right now

6.5" alpine S component speakers in front doors
6.5" 2 way alpine S on the rear deck
600w 4 channel sony xplod amp (runs all speakers... obviously)
audiobahn crossover
1000w kenwood mono class d amp
2 12" sony xplod amps ( in a ported box)
2.0 fraud cap

So my system sounds great but the problem im having is that my subs arent performing as well as the rest of my system. they r bottoming out and the bass gets to muddy.

what are some good subs that i can buy for less than $200 a piece.

here are some i was looking at:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575P2D2...owAll=N&tp=111

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SWR1...owAll=N&tp=111

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113W301...owAll=N&tp=111

im sure theres already posts on this but w/e.. what do u guys think?

No wonder your bass is muddy, you have your amps inside a ported box.

Any of those will likely be better than the Sony's, but not a huge step up.

i know the RE SE's are going for cheap now-a-days. not sure if the pricing is still in effect. why not just invest in 1 solid 15?

and i can name a few single 15s that can embarrass your two 12s. quality > quantity.

not to mention the box plays a HUGE role on how your subs perform.

its your amp not subs, if you run 2 amps for 2 subs, your system will be amazing, if there the 12s that have 1300watt max an 380 rms, then bridge your amps an then see how it is, if it doesnt sound as good as you want return it an get different subs but im pretty sure that the subs or good, i had the 10 inch alone in my car an it was good

LOL

You might want to re-read your description.

You have 2 12" sony Xplod amps.

You mean subwoofers? hooked up to your Kenwood amp?

and i also have a grounding problem right now i get a pretty bad wine that changes w/ rpm's. it came once i hooked up the kenwood amp and ran the rca cable to give it sound. im still trying to figure out what the problem is.

i bought thses ground loop isolators that hook up to the rca cables from crutchfield and those eliminated the wine perfectly but then i wasnt getting any sound out of my subs so idk what the problem is. Im sure its a ground somewhere i jsut dont kno where.

but i have to put my audio system on hold for a little bit cause ive gotta get a wheel bearing replaced along w/ front struts...

I can vouch for the Fosgate P2's I have a pair of 12s in a ported box and they slam hard.
Iam moving up to A P3 next week.

Telling us they slam hard says nothing.

I would go with JBL power series.

IMO go with the Alpines. They are DVC and both coils run at 4 ohms. I dont like the Rockford since it runs at 2 ohms and 250w rms power handling is weaksauce lol...is your amp stable at that impedance? I would research to find out which has the largest driver though...
