hey guys, abt 2 years ago i got a sony xplod 800w amp and never ever gave me a problem, but since 2 days ago whenever i turn it on it goes into protection mode, it works for 5 secs and than the red light with protection mode lights up and than it stops working. Is my amp dead? or am i not getting enough ground to it. All i did was fix my wiring for my hids and thats it, and since than i have no bass, anyone know wats the problem here? thanks

 

1) Check the fuse(s) inside your amp
2) Check your amp ground

usually the protect light means amp. death or some serious internal issues...sorry man
