Eclipse AVN6620 Problem

Installed this in my 02 max and noticed an alternator buzz and a soft static noise even when the sound was muted...odd considering my old Alpine didn't do this at all. Ok, re grounded my amps and most of the buzz went away but the soft static still remained and the buzz remained only when the screen was on. I did a little more research and found out that my amps only say they support up to 4v and this deck is 5v. I would assume that would explain the soft static noise. Has anyone else noticed a slight buzz when the screen is on with their AVN6620 or should I call Eclipse and get my deck replaced?

I doubt it's the deck.

Talked to Don...the low noise floor is common in Eclipse decks and even more common with the AVN series Eclipse decks. I fixed the alternator whine by grounding my deck to a better ground instead of using the ground that the stock deck used.
