power antenna replacement

I'm not really sure if this is the right section to ask but I just want to know where I can get power antenna replacement for my Maxima. The motor of the old power antenna just broke off and I need a replacement. Thanks!

you can probably find them at courtesy Nissan. Or try your local junk yard, Im sure these are common parts.

I've got a similar issue, my antenna has just stopped going up. When I turn on the radio I hear the motor trying to work but the thing doesn't move. I think this is a prevalent problem among Maxima owners so any advice you have I would really appreciate. Thanks

Ive had to replace a few of these. Most of the time the mast can just be replaced. A couple times I had to take the motor apart and pull out the broken gear pieces of the mast extender. Thats a good time to clean it up, regrease it, and also clean out the drain tube for when it rains or the car is washed.

It is a broken "Mast and Cable assembly" that you need to get from the dealer, or from a junkyard. You will need to remove your antenna completely from the car and open up the motor to remove the old cable. Then reinstall the motor, and feed the "Mast and Cable assembly" down as someone turns the radio off. Then put the locking nut back on, and you are done. It is very easy to do, but will take the better part of an hour if it is your first time.
