People with Optima Yellows
Did you guys notice the car cranks up faster? I'm not sure if it was because my stock battery literally had the life sucked dry from it, but I can't recall the car ever cranking so fast.

Great!!!
I just wanted to make sure I don't have a funky battery. Everything has improved with this cure-all battery...no more slow power windows, power antenna, and worry-free starts. I had about 50K miles on my 97 stock battery. I started recharging it, but I could tell it couldn't hold the charge and was going to die soon. I totally love my yellow top; no regrets.
Oh yeah, does anyone know how long these optimas should last?

The Optima was so dead it couldn't even turn on his dome light, and it jump-started right away. Most normal car batteries would probably not have survived a drain like that, but the Red top recharged and has been working fine ever since. His battery has outlasted two cars and is going on it's seventh year.
Hope this helps,

don't see why not, if you are willing to spend the extra money for the Blue top, or really need deep-cycle marine battery.
If money is a factor, and you weren't running a lot of equipment that put a large drain on your system, you would be just as well off with a Red top (Costco, $99.99) and painting it to match.
hope this helps,
