Rear 6x9 Subs in an 07

This might be a dumb question but Ill ask anyway.

Today I took apart the rear deck and put down some Dynamat. Now its time to put it back together, but Im deciding what to do with the 6x9 subs.I dont need them because I have a 12 with about 1500 watts, which for me is plenty. Now heres my question,if I replace the subs with some 6x9 3 ways, will they work properly or any they some how wired just to produce bass?I will be running them from my HU.I run my fronts off of an amp.

For anyone who wants to do this,a full range speaker is not plug and play.It will only produce bass.

take them out completely and just leave the holes empty...it'll help vent the bass in the trunk into the cabin.

Has anyone found an easy way to make the rear deck 6x9's full range?

I would personally replace them with 6.5's coaxial in the rear.

Im going to be using some 6x9 Orions.Im going to power them with a small 2 channel amp.If youre using a stock HU there is nothing you can do.

Would make no difference, you'd still only get bass since that's the signal being sent out to the rear deck speakers from the oem amp.

I'm dropping 2 Hertz 8" sealed subs in the trunk, and I'm going to pull the 6x9's and leave them out.
