Testing a Microvision LCD...ruh-roh,, is it shot?
So before reinstalling my ancient 7" Microvision LCD, I decided to make sure it still works, so naturally I connect the turn on, power, and ground wires to a good ole 9V battery...aaaaaaand...nothing. Well, sort of. The screen goes dull white for a split second, then off, then one again for a split second, lather, rinse, repeat.
So am I doing something wrong with this insanley basic test, or is it shot?
PS - If it's shot and anyone has one lying around, I need to buy it.

lol, no typo. IIRC, it does fully power and illuminate blue when powered from a 9V source, but I mihgt be wrong on that. I was testing it late at night and hoping this would provide ample powah, but we shall soon see if such is the case, or if I need to get a Lilliput TFT...

Nothing top secret. I am about 90% done the final interior overhaul and needed to test zee screen before putting it in the center console.
BTW: 9V works, turns out the battery just did not have enough juice to power the LCD, we're GTG
