Audio Installer in Houston-I need one

Ok org. maybe I should post this in the TX forum but. Does anyone have a good audio installer. I will be buying the NIRD-01 and my guy must be huring in the economy and wants to charge me 120 to install. Thats too much I think. Also, I need some trouble shooting, I have a popping sound when i turn off the car, it does not come from the sub, it comes from the front speakers. He cant figure it out, (i know hes the installer, dont get me started) I spent too much money there, thus my search for a new installer.

Thanks in advance for the help

slim pickings in houston afaik. seems like stereofx and bico are the most popular but i have never used them personally. that thing looks pretty simple, probably not over your head unless you are just completely uncomfortable doing work.

To be honest, I am not confortable messing with electronics, I know my limits and it not very high when it comes to that, LOL. I will change brakes, oil and filter no problem, but when it comes to electronics i will waive the white flag. I will PM asendantmax. Alos I want to find out about that popping noise when turning the car off. Pearl96 maybe you can trouble shoot. Heres what I have: D3 with bluetooth and xm module, 3 amps, JL 300/2, JL 300/4 and Audiobahn 1200/1. There is a read/reed (IDK) relayin there for remote wires b/c the installer thought that was why its popping (had a regular relay it did the same thing) but that did not help. It seems like the popping is coming from the front speakers not sure though but not the sub. Maybe a ground is messed up some where. Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the heads up. Bico is a few mile away from my job so i will give him a call. Any other advice on my problem?

You could just tell him Don from Jersey. He should know right away. However he does have a business to run, so I am not sure how much it would help price wise.
