I'm picking up my 89 GXE tomorrow after basketball practice and either this weekend or next, I'm gonna put a new system in it cuz the stock one blows. For the subs I'm gonna run 2 RF HE 12s off in a box made by one of my friends friends or one off ebay. The amp is either gonna be a Punch 500.2 or a JBL 600.1. Which one would be better? The Punch is only 60 bucks more. The headunit is Pioneer. I forgot the model name. DEH-3400 maybe? All I need now are some 4x6s and some 6x9s. Any recommendations? I would like to keep the whole thing under 800 before installation. So far, before, the interior speakers the price is 679.50. It might be lower cuz the box I priced was 40 bucks and I don't know how much the guy will make it for. Is this good so far?
