replacements for stock speakers?

Yes, I searched, I just want some opinions, too.

What I am basically looking for at the moment are direct replacements for the door mounted speakers and somewhat direct replacements for the rears (i'll just make the damn adapters/baffles/whatever). I've heard Eclipse speakers mentioned in a lot of posts, are they any good? What is the power rating on the 6½" and 6x9"?

For now I'll be running a Pioneer HU (DEH7200) that is 45x4, will this be enough to give these drivers a reasonable workout and create some nice sound in the cabin?

I'm also thinking of doing a custom installed 12" on the rear deck, is this a bad idea? I remember someone posted pics of a Max with three 10" on the rear deck. If I go the Eclipse/Replacement route and add in an amp and a decent 12" in the back, will it be enough to have my trunk sealed (deadened) or is it too much air for the driver?

I don't want to canabalize the car too much, so the spare stays and I don't want to put a box in the back (I haul a lot of stuff). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Dont forget to go to the Chicago/Northshore meet
