Remote = Windows Down & Up

I've seen this before, but can't remember if the guy had a separate control module with a new remote/same remote new signal recognition

or

if he had wired BCM to control windows up from the existing keyfob command option.

For example, unlock = one door unlocked, unlock unlock = all doors unlocked, unlock hold = front windows down, lock all doors lock and windows go up.

has anyone done this? I would appreciate some help. 97-99 BCM is what i am interested in.

thanks

The 4th gen key fob does that from the factory. Unlock once for drivers door, unlock twice for all doors, or hold down unlock to roll down the front windows. Every 4th gen I've seen does it.

ya this would be cool. youd have to figure out the wireout from the BCM then us that to power a relay and some kind of timer or something to make the windows roll up. while your at it, might as well make the moon roof **** too! thatd be awesome

my '89 Jaguar XJ6 did this for haven's sake. It was so convenient, in cold and hot weather.

I think new Camaros even have a feature where you can set a preferred temp in the car and when you remote start it the A/C or Heat automatically come on to bring the interior temp to your desired setting. How sweet is that??

This should work on 4th gens if you have the roll down function on your oem keyfob. I've been selling these modules for a while. Let me know if you'd like one to try out. I love mine, and use it just about everytime I get out of the car.

No it's not the 530T. It's a module created specifically for this purpose for Nissan's and Infiniti's. They sell for $55 Shipped, and the activation signal is by depressing the lock button twice on the keyfob. Most all of your questions can be answered within the link provided. Thanks.

Take a look here:

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=win...xima&_osacat=0

ebay has these for $26 shipped...

and here:

http://www.kptechnologies.com/produc...n&model=Maxima

on the bottom, but it only lists 02-08 maximas as compatible..

I'm not sure why only 02-08, but if the reason is the updated BCM, i wonder if it is possible to use 5th gen module in a 4th gen, and then use this module..

Is their a way to get this functionality if you have a viper remote start system installed (I have a viper remote not the OEM Maxima remote). I just tried it with my viper remote and nothing happened.
