Good ways to attach amp to floor?

I pulled the drivers seat and I am planning on attaching my component amp in that area below it. I cut a piece of MDF and added t-nuts to it, then screwed the amp into that. I am not sure the best way to anchor the mdf/amp to the floor. Should I epoxy the carpet to the tar below it by cutting a tiny hole in the carpet, then epoxy the mdf to the carpet? Thats the best thing I can come up with. I want this thing to be SOLID so it doesnt move while autocrossing etc.

Put the board under the carpet, the amp on top of the carpet. Screw through the carpet into the board, it won't move.

Good idea DJ. I'll have to try that or figure something else out when it comes time to do this to my car.

Heh, it's a pretty standard trick that many use.

I did that with a speaker box in my trunk. I came up with it all by myself, thought i was king sh!+ of ideas, only to find out it's a pretty standard practice.
