09 max power wire run

09 max power wire run

Hello

I have install a few systems
in my day but for the life of me
I cant find a grommet or way of
passing the 4g from engine bay to
truck please help

i just drilled in my 06 below the master cylinder. it made things a ton easier to run my 0awg.

nope no leaking. i bought one of those locking grommets that grabs on and secures the cable. it's a watertight seal.

the grommet is secured onto the firewall, then when you pass the wire through, you tighten the larger **** and it'll grab onto the power wire.

you can ether drill a hole and get a grommet for like ascendantmax is talking about, or the way i do mine is run them completely under the car and sucure them with brackets, but since your only running 1 4g it probably be easier to drill a single hole, just another suggestion on how you could run it

i sure hope i dont hit any wires drilling this car
7/8s its a large hole they are requiring for that grommet

i used a step bit to drill the hole. it made the edges nice and clean. but yes, make sure you look under the dash so you don't hit any lines. i had an empty clutch plate that was perfect for drilling.
