I bought four small 8" red interior neons to put up under the dash in my maxima. I was reading in their manual that they only take ~100mA for each one. Do I need to be careful what power wire I tap under my dash? The manual for the neons made it seem like I would start a fire if I connected it to the wrong power source under the dash. At 100mA and with as small as the wires going to the neons are I'd be suprized if that would be the case. Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

Haha I figured someone would say that. I want to put them up under the dash for a soft glow on the floor. Rode in a Lexus and got the udea from that as the Lexus has a soft orange glow on the floor. I thought it looked kinda cool.

are you wiring through a switch?

I'd find the door pin/dome light wire, use that wire to trip a relay, relay to power the lights. If you don't know how to do this find somebody who does because you'll probably end up frying something.
