bulb question

my fog light wattage is 12V-55W
I just got a pair of bulbs that are 12V 85W
they work fine and look real nice, but I wanna know if anything will happen if i run on them for a while

also, my headlights are 12V-60/55W
should I use the same wattage bulbs as my fogs to match up the color correctly?

and my turn signals and the such are low wattage like 27W for the turn signals and 3.8W for the sidemarkers
how should I deal with this to make sure colors match?

thanks in advance

by putting in higher wattage bulbs, you are risking melting the wiring harness. You should alwyas uses the same wattage bulbs. As for the headlights, if you get the same brand of bulbs, they should match upfairly well. For the trun signals, use the search and get the directions on how to rewire them, or simply cut one of the nubs off the bulb and put the bulb in backwards.
