Coaxial or Components?

I am not satisfied with my Nakamichi front coaxial speakers. Which ones would give me a better sound; coaxials with external crossover or components? Also, which brands do you recommend?
Thanx

The benefits of a component over a coaxial are:
Ease of aiming the tweeter, tweeter is not hard mounted to mid frame and therefore easier to aim because of it's small size.
Ability to use larger, higher power handling tweets.
Ease of using larger higher quality crossovers.

But the benefit of a good coaxial is that if the mid can be aimed properly the set should sound great. You can't line the tweet up much better than directly over the mid.
