New goodies for the sound sytem..

So i bought another goodie for the car... I decided that I wanted to do alittle more work to the sound system in the car, so I went with a set of kick panels to use instead of the door location. Kick panels house a set of Alpine Type R components. Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to install them in the car.

be sure to feed them a lot of power... they're kind of power hungry.

Why didn't you just put them in the doors? if I would only put kicks in my car if I had to (3 ways..)

I did it more for the ease of wiring up the crossovers. I dont want to drill any holes to run the wires, so this would be easier to do,

the crossovers you could have fit in the door, so you really only would need to run 1 pair of twin lead in each door. the effort would be worth saving the foot space IMO, but to each his own.

Are you amping them?

Very cool. I've always liked those kicks, they're a great solution.

Thanks.

I actually pulled the car into the garage, turned on the salamander. and wired everything up. They sound amazing. Soo much better than the same components in the doors.

Those are sweet but I dont see the cost of them if your not runnin' 3ways (FTW). For the $$ of those you maybe could have run 3ways!

But god YES those are NICE!!
