double din unit?

I am pondering getting a double din video unit for my 03 max. I want an OEM like finish flush install. what unit do you guys recommend. I was looking on crutchfield and all the double dins they said dont fit.

any unit more popular than other in terms of fit finish for the max?

you can do any double din. If you want the best fit and finish for the dask kit get the OEM 01 gxe kit. scoche has one but the color is off and the continuity is lacking imo. the gxe kit has the vents built in. you made need the installer to grind down a trim ring to make it appear stock but they do look awesome when done right.

Hey PHXGOLD what is up. Wow, that is kind of crazy. What a small freakin world. Thank you very much for the info for the GXE kit. I will try giving Dave a call tomorrow. Hopefully you should be getting back that Alpine tomorrow. Honestly man, dont worry about sending a check for the shipping, thanks for being cool about it and refunding my money so quickly.
