I have 2 12w3's in my 2001 AE maxima. This really sucks...recently...my back window has started rattling when i turn the bass up loud...... ..the window behind the back panel.....
what should i do????

 

same here, and it happened all of a sudden one day, i have no clue how to fix it, and two 15 W-3s make make it rattle real bad, im think somethin just came loose

 

Dynamat your entire trunk and underneath your deck lid and that should take care of most of the rattles. There are other types of deadening materials out there as well.

ive already done all that..under the panel and the trunk.......i dunno what next i could do?

 

hey i still have my stock bose sub in my car, and my friend was telln me that having it there causes more distortion and rattle cuz air is moving up and hitting it...true?

I don't know about that....maybe true. That is actually the worst place to put a sub.

 

checking the roof liner (push up on the back towards rear glass when you have it loud) ... all the metal clips in the back of mine are a little bent from dynomatting the roof ..and now they make an even worse sound
