Components for 02?

I did a search, and did not find what I was looking for. I searched the part number of this kit...

Basically, I am looking at doing the alpine SPR-17S, they are a 6.75" speaker
http://signature.crutchfield.com/S-K...e-SPR-17S.html

I am wondering if anyone has tried these? I am also looking at doing the tweets that come with these. I will also be adding sound deadener at the same time.

My concerns are:
-Will these have any clearance issues?
-How much finagling will it take to get the tweets to fit in the OE spot?

I am not afraid to epoxy the tweats in if I have to. I want to keep an OE look as much as possible.

I would greatly appreciate any input, on these, or, another set I should try. I plan on using an amp on these also.

Dunno about the fit of the doors, but I do know if you take the tweets outta there housing they'll fit in the OEM spot...

How do I know, how, know? KNOW HOW!! Thats what I did with mine!

With anything bro, its all about cash! The more cash the better comps!

I will prob order these up on Thursday.

I ordered up 70sq ft of sound deadener also, and will add some insulation to the floor of the max about the same time to help with road noise.

seal those doors good and youll be alright. plexi works well close up those access holes and do an mdf ring and you should be able to go with that mid. ive got 2 rings on my nobelliums, and their fine.

I got them off of ebay for $133 shipped, and I have about 75sq ft of sound deadener in the truck to go on the doors.

I still would have rather bought HIGHER END used than those Alpines, nothing against Alpine! When you hear a REAL front stage you'll understand why!

what brand of deadener? IS THE REAL QUESTION!!

If its FATMAT or along those lines you'll need all 75 feet~
