Need help with Autometer Nexus gauges..
I just finished installing a set of Nexus gauges, and I'm having some issues..
I have boost, oil pressure, and water temp gauges.. When I turn the key on, the gauges all cycle, a do the full sweep thing, before coming back to zero. However, when I start the engine, the boost gauge will do the sweep again, and start working properly, but, the oil pressure and water temp gauges remain at zero. They are lit, but, won't respond. They will not toggle with the remote, either.
Now, while the engine is running.. if I unplug power to the module, and plug it back in, all 3 gauge work just fine. But, this only works if the engine is running. If I try to start the engine, only the boost gauge will work..
I have 12 volts switched going to the yellow wire, with 12 volts applied during cranking, as well as when the key is "on". I have battery voltage applied to the red wire, and the black wire is grounded.
Has anyone seen this happen? I'm stumped on this one..

It turned out to be a voltage issue. The battery voltage was dropping below 11.5 volts during cranking, which caused the Nexus' brain to go haywire. After running the engine for 10 minutes, and charging the battery back up (it's been sitting for a few months), the problem is gone.
