I'm going to ditch my box with two A/D/S 10's and fire a single 12W7 or a 10W7 through the armrest. The sub will be recessed back a couple of inches so the cone doesn't hit the backseat. It will get about 800 watts and will be completely sealed from the trunk. I guess I want a little bit more kick than the A/D/S provide.

That should be sweet. What are you gonna power it with? I can't wait to get my next car, which has a stock sub mounting location in the rear deck. That should provide better SQ than having it in the trunk firing towards the rear of the vehicle.

 

Did you ever get the a/d/s to work properly? Either way I like the idea of the JL. Let me know if I can give you a hand with anything.
