Hi guys I parked my car over the weekend and when I returned the amp powering my mids was not working and I'm getting this intermittent popping noise in the mids and no music. The subwoofer seems to be working just fine. The two amps share the same ground (a bolt that I sanded the paint off of in the area between the trunk and back seats when folded down) and I think it might be a ground loop issue. The only other thing it could be is the RCAs but they've been fine in the past. This whole system has worked just fine for four years. My last guess would be the mids amp is just shot.
I would like to reground the mids amp and I'm not sure where to go. Any pointers are much appreciated. The car is for sale and I have people coming to look at it. I'll probably take it to an audio shop if the new ground doesn't fix anything.

try to move one of the grounds, as long as its solid metal and u sand it down, make good connections u should be good. idk if it will solve ur problem but its worth a try.
