96 maxima bose head unit

Do you still have the Bose head unit? If so, how much do you want for it? Mine is cutting out frequently in last few months and the display is gone as well. I guess I've had great luck to not have any problems with it until just recently. Were you having any problems with it before you removed it? How is the appearance, i.e., scratches, letters on buttons, etc.? I would like to replace my Bose unit with an aftermarket unit and keep the original speakers, etc., but sounds too complicated to pull this off and way too expensive to replace entire system with an aftermarket system! I have had the car since new and it now has about 209,000 miles (my primary mode of transportation for now), but is still runs great and is in great shape overall. I plan to keep it until repairs become too prohibitive. This is easily the best car I have ever owned and hope to be driving it for many years to come. I still have my first new car - 1972 Cutlass Supreme- so I tend to hang on to my cars.
